Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
1. Overview
Cull-Pro is a web-based application for culling and processing RAW photo files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
Cull-Pro is not a purely local application. When you use the Service, the image files you add to projects are uploaded to and stored in our cloud object storage, and related metadata is stored in our database, so your projects can be accessed across devices when you are signed in.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: Your email address and authentication credentials, managed by our authentication provider, Supabase. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the account information that Google makes available to us, such as your email address and name.
- Image files you upload: The actual photo files (camera RAW files such as CR2, CR3, CRW, NEF, NRW, ARW, SR2, SRF, RAF, RW2, ORF, PEF, DNG, SRW, X3F, IIQ and more, plus TIFF, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP and AVIF) that you add to your projects. These files are stored in our cloud object storage provided by Cloudflare.
- Project and file metadata: Project names, file names, file types, file sizes, and the culling and editing decisions you make, including ratings, hidden flags, image adjustments (crop, rotation, color), and sort order.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information needed to operate the Service, such as network and device data present in server logs maintained by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.
- Your sign-in session token is stored in your web browser's local storage so you can stay signed in across visits.
Payment information
- Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we do not store or process your full card numbers. We receive from Stripe the information needed to manage your subscription, such as your plan, billing status, and billing period.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including storing your files and synchronizing your projects across devices.
- Enforce storage quotas and verify subscription entitlements.
- Process billing and manage subscriptions through our payment provider.
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
- Respond to support requests and resolve technical issues.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers required to operate the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting for account, project, and file metadata.
- Cloudflare — application hosting and object storage (R2) for the image files you upload.
- Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing, and the customer portal.
- Google — third-party sign-in (only if you choose to sign in with Google). If you sign in with Google, your use of that sign-in is governed by Google's terms and policies, and we comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cull-Pro, our users, or others.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
- Deleting a file removes the file from our cloud storage and its metadata record.
- Deleting a project removes the project's files from our cloud storage and its metadata records.
- Deleting your account removes your stored files from our cloud storage and removes your account, project, and file records from our database, and cancels your subscription at the end of the current billing period.
After deletion, residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or caches before being purged in the ordinary course.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit, restricting file access to authenticated requests through short-lived signed URLs, and limiting database access to authorized services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- You can delete your account and its data from within the application, and you can reset your password by email.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal.
- Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. You can exercise these by contacting us at privacy@cull-pro.com.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
